This game shows why Corsi in a short sample is useless. Coyotes won the corsi battle in that game.

So then:

Double point night for Johnny and Hudler.
Points for Monahan, Brodie and Gio.
A PP goal.
A shut out for Ramo.

Few wobbly moments in the 2nd period, but all in all, that was a totally controlled and composed performance by the Flames tonight. Their confidence seems to be rising by the game, its like they now believe in themselves and aren't just snatching games anymore, they are winning them by playing better than the other team.

Then add in the fact that LA lost and either the Ducks or the Sharks will lose tonight and its pretty much the perfect night really. Roll on Tuesday!

the Flames are so much fun to follow this year. Just awesome. Even a sad sack Coyotes team, where for the last few years I probably couldn't care enough to watch because they're so damn boring, I still get pumped to watch the Flames against them.

In conclusion, Dave Tippett hates hockey, hates fans, and should be ejected from the NHL.

Loving the love that the panel is giving us! It's great that we are starting to get recognized!

Major Flames love on HNIC. Kypreos compared Monahan to Ron Francis.

HNIC panel Sean Monahan = Ron Francis. Pretty nice compliment.

There are very few teams who can play at the pace we do game in game out for 60 minutes.

Notes from the game:

- Ferland is going to be good. Ferland smash.
- Johnny was fantastic, would of opened up a few eyes on HNIC.
- Brodie/Gio is the best D pairing in the NHL.
- Karri Ramo and those stone cold blue eyes gives me a hockey boner (no homo).
- Engelland had a good game.
- EVERYONE HAD A GOOD GAME

Looking forward to another big bobby post game interview

Yeah Hrudy is on board and was one of the first to see how good this team can be.
