I know, I'm just poking fun. They played great tonight and the shutout was a nice touch

We were outshot but Niemi also made several big saves. We had as many scoring chances as them, if not more.

I thought Russell and Wideman were very solid tonight, When the top 4 D play like they did tonight, the Flames are going to win more times than not.

A great start to the post-Setoguchi era.

What can you say about this team. Flames/Sharks games are always a fun affair!
Rambo with the shutout
Byron with ''The Shift''
Brodie...spectacular
A full effort from every single person in the lineup. Granlund with quietly his best game I thought. Saved a couple plays from becoming good scoring chances and won pretty much every single puck battle he was in. The Flames were getting pushed around at the start. They bent but didn't break. So proud of this team right now.

Can we all just agree that the best feel good story in hockey this year comes courtesy of the Calgary Flames?

Only concerning thing for me in that game was the struggles at times to clear the zone, so many quality Shark chances coming off of turnovers deep. Thankfully Ramo was in the zone, he definitely needs to be given the reigns for the next while

Sharks will say they ran into a hot goalie. But Niemi made some good saves too. Monahan and Jones on breakaways. Solid on stuff in attempts. Not as many shots, but some good pressure.

No question they did, but San Jose was pushing the play for lots of the game.
I am happy though. This is exciting.
