Most other Missions (represented by the Sword and the Eye figure) present you with a task or problem in the area of either Ferelden or Orlais. You are able to choose one of your three advisors; Josephine, Leliana, or Cullen, to handle the mission in your stead. Most of these missions will take a pre-determined amount of real-world time to complete, and each advisor can only be tasked to one mission at at time.

I just killed another dragon. This one was in Crestfall. My entire party died and I was left alone to solo it... And I did. Block. Block. Dodge lightening. All the while attacking.

The higher level dragons are a pain, especially with the guard ability and calling reinforcements.

I haven't even got to a dragon yet. I got 10 hours in and couldn't handle the sight of my character any more. I really wish they gave you the options to change the physical appearance of your character during the game as if you screw up making him in the beginning you have to live with it for what is a long game. I originally made a male Qunari mage but when you make all your preferred facial changes the character looks a little different in the actual game. My guy ended up looking like this satanic beast with red around his eyes, pale complexion, big horns, etc. Just didn't fit the character so I restarted with a female human mage.

They're planning on putting a special mirror in the game that will let you change your physical appearance, no charge DLC from what I've read

I have almost 100 hrs in and yet to unlock "What Pride Has Wrought" being almost lvl 22, I would think there isn't much left for the story arc. I got tired of shard collecting but have almost completed everything else, need to kill 5 more dragons for the achievement. I feel confident once again in Bioware's abilities to make a decent game, I can't wait for any DLC they may have for Inquisition, and I'm looking forward to the next Mass Effect.

For some reason the mages don't cast their offensive spells and the warrior won't use taunt. I have the tactics on but they just won't use their abilities, the only one is solas that will activate the shield and revive people but Dorian won't use his offensive spells unless I make him do it. Any advice?

I thought nothing could top a rogue for sheer killing power, but a reaver just might have it beat. My two-handed warrior was feeling pretty weak pre-specialization, but as soon as I maxed out the reaver tree he's a godamn monster now. My rouge always had trouble with the high armor/high guard enemies, but my reaver tears those apart. Even dragons are pretty easy now, though that's the one area a tempest rogue is still unbeatable. As good as the reaver is it's kinda hard to compare to a tempest/assassin combo 1 shotting a dragon

My character is an enormous Qunari warrior and i've been trying to set him up with Vivienne but he always ends up disappointing her. I keep trying my pick-up lines but they're so hilariously awkward. Its like trying to set up the two exchange students. Fun game.

Don't want to disappoint you, but Vivienne is unromancable. I went the Cassandra route with my Qunari warrior since she's down with me being a total hardass that hates magic

Freaking love this game, didn't think I'd like anything as much as Skyrim but this thing dwarfs it.

I was stoked to get the game for Christmas. Too bad when I can't connect to the servers.

Skyrim with a plot and fantastic voice acting is how I describe it to people that haven't played it. It may not be one giant unbroken map to explore, but the total area of all the maps is bigger with a lot more detail and variety

There is a lot more detail and variety in it than Skyrim. Sneak around a random corner and there is a giant block of cheese 1/3rd eaten a skeleton and a deck of cards and it's just like what happened here?
A ton of effort went into DAI, I'm not a fan of the gameplay but the world is one of the most finely crafted in any video game. Up there with Baldurs Gate II and Dark Souls in terms of environment and art design.

On top of a mountain there is a certain magical wheel of cheese that is actually a shield. I made Cassandra wear it for a few levels, it was great

Same, but I made Blackwall use it because that was even more funny.

My main used it until I finished the lost temple of Dirthamen.
I have regrets about rolling a Qunari sword and board Warrior. I've gotten about 45 hours into the game, and I've gotten bored... I charge into battle, mass taunt, then switch back and forth between enemies. Block. Smash. Taunt. Block. Smash. Taunt.
If it weren't for the fact that I've spent so much time on my game, I'd restart as a mage or a rogue. Assassin or Knight-Enchanter...

You can just play as one of your party members in combat and set the taunt, the block, the smash as the only preferred talents, disable the other stuff and never have to use the warrior again. I've got a board and sword dwarf and he's very useful, fun to switch over to the mages and just let the warrior play it out.
One thing I do like is how the game makes the character actually feel important. Instead of just a random prisoner washed ashore or miraculously freed like every other rpg the protagonist seems to garner attention everywhere immediately and it's a nice change. After the events in Haven it really gets interesting, no idea how far I am into it. Seen most of the major open areas save 1 or 2 but haven't fought a single dragon.

I do love the Champions sirvivability., though. My hits gain guard. Getting hit gains guard. Taunt gains guard. Blocking gains guard. Pop invincibility. The more I think about it, the more I enjoy having him. I'll try switching to another character to see how it plays out. I really don't want to restart right now.
