3rd Period is a go!

Loved Arnold's picture from tonight of what looks like Ortio surrendering to the puck.

Ortio comes up huge twice on Rattie.

Rattie was alone and two good shots. Ortio got both of them.

Sieloff and Lindbaum fighting.

Not a bad tilt. Sieloff was a little over his head, but he did a decent job. Got a little ragdolled to start but stood up and started throwing them and switching hands to surprise him.

Was the Sieloff hit clean? He always has to answer for those big hits.

It was questionable. Not obviously dirty but it looked iffy.

Lindboum gets 2 for instigating, 5 for fighting and 10 min misconduct.

Sieloff gets 5 for fighting, 10 minute and game misconduct. Also gets a 5 minute major for hit and a game misconduct.

Flames will be shorthanded for 3 minutes due to the Sieloff major

Ortio coming up huge again. That looked painful, he was full splits and still stretching.

Looked almost Chara-esque.
Has his shot gotten noticeably better? Or was that just a flash in the pan. If Wotherspoon could somehow add an offensive edge to his game that would be huge.

Ortio is looking real good. He got off to a slow start along with the defence but both have turned it around. I was losing a little faith in Ortio because he did get a head start by going to the Penticton tournament.

If he wants a spot in Calgary next season he's got to be sharper to start the season.

It was moreso just a big shot then anything. He wound up and you could almost hear how hard and fast it was going.

His shot isn't terrible though. He doesn't use it a ton, but he seems to have a heavy one when he does let it go.

Sounds like Regehr, he has a big slapshot but rarely gets the time to get it off.
