New wallet time!

Anyone have any recommendations based on recent experiences?
Im looking for something to hold cards and some cash and not be too bulky.

I gave up wallets about a year ago and integrated everything into a wallet style phone case that holds cash and cards inside the phone cover.

It's streamlined my life and made things so much easier. No more looking for my wallet or phone, they are all together in one place and there is so much less bulk and stuff in my pockets.

I just ordered a new one of these. The wallet got a worn look really quickly but didn't wear any further after that. I used it daily for two years but the original vertical had a bit of a design flaw so I am switching to the micro one.

Thin is absolutely the way to go. I couldn't imagine going back.

Bellroy - Hide & Seek. Bought it 2 years back and love it. Leather has worn nicely and it's still in great shape.

Like Hack, I discovered all I need to carry around are some cards and a few bills. My wife sewed together some elastic fabric into a loop. It can hold up to 10-15 cards easily in a small deck. I trifold cash and slip them in as well.

Incorporating that into a phone case is a great idea if you can get it to work. For me, I don't like covers on my phone. but if I find a coverless case that holds a few cards, I'll look into it.

In the summer when I dont wear a jacket I have a phone case that holds my ID and some cards.

In the winter when I do wear a jacket and carry a full wallet I have a TUMI.

My son just picked one up from Fossil. Great selection, decent price, and the quality looks pretty good too. Will definitely check them out next time I am in the market for one.

It's probably safe to look at wallets like you do at shoes.

... however, I just use a 3 card holder now because I want the thinness

I used a double sided money clip for years. They're like $5 each. I no longer use a money clip and what I have is probably outside of most individuals' budget.

Side 1: Debt, credit, drivers, AB health card, misc business cards
Side 2: Bills folded in thirds.

Coins, hated them. I still do.

I throw mine at the homeless and the NDP. Most of the time they're even the same person.

Mont Blanc. They're not cheap, but they are extremely well made, with high quality leather and very well stitched.
I've had one for around 8 years now and the leather is still in remarkable condition.

I've had a fake Mont Blanc for about 3 years now. Even those are well made!

Good Lord! You're not kidding. I thought mine was expensive at around ~$200 but wow.
