Ridiculous that that goal counted.

wonder if the refs saw it this way, but it was a good goal

"67.1 Handling Puck - A player shall be permitted to stop or “bat” a puck in the air with his open hand, or push it along the ice with his hand, and the play shall not be stopped unless, in the opinion of the Referee, he has deliberately directed the puck to a teammate in any zone other than the defending zone"

Burrows was trying to bring it down, not pass it back

Interesting, because the refs never call it that way. You always see someone in the neutral zone jump up to grab the puck only to get a piece of it and the refs blow it dead because it was a hand pass.

There's no way this should count. Clearly pushed the pad in.

Miller not looking like a $6 million goaltender.

Canuck fans are already all over him on their board. I think he's going to regret signing there pretty quickly

Man wish Miller and the Canucks would have played like this against the Flames the other night.

I'm having trouble watching this game.

"Hurray! Goal against Vancouver!!!...... wait it's the Oilers... Booo? Um.... huh.."

Who do we hate less? Vancouver lost Torts and Kesler, but still has the sisters and Burrows. Edmonton is Edmonton, you kind of feel bad for them but then you remember they don't deserve it

Can they both lose?

Vancouver is a goaltenders graveyard. It can be a miserable place for a goaltender if he's not playing to expectations. Lack was better in preseason but it's pretty clear that they are going to give Miller every chance possible to show it wasn't a bad signing by the new management.

Realistically the best thing is probably an Oilers regulation win.

On the bright side for the Canucks the Sedins/Vrbata line looks great. On the down side, the rest of the team looks like complete garbage.

You can already see they miss Kessler. They have absolutely nothing going on outside of the Sedin line.

Forget these losers, I'm switching to the end of the Avs Wild game. Getting heated.

3-0 for the Sharks now after 2.

Five periods into the season and San Jose has outscored their opponents 7-0.

Three games at least? He went out of his way to clip the head with the elbow.

Edit: Clearing attempt goes off the post of the empty net. Wow
