Yea, in previous years if I clicked on a Center Ice game that was being shown in my region, it would just tell me that the game was blacked out, then I would go watch it on TSN2 or wherever it was.

Centre Ice in Canada shows games that are not nationally televised on the various Sportsnet channels (the CBC and TSN national games in the past seasons) and the regional games in the city/area you are in. Game Centre in Canada is your best option because it will show all the games.
In the USA, Centre Ice shows games that are not on NBC, NBCSN, NHL Network, and the regional games in the city/area you are in.
