Bennet may be the toughest, easy decision of the entire camp.

Benefit of having decent D to help you out. He might not have Kipper rebound control but none of them have resulted in quality scoring chances.

Ramo the busier of the goalies but Ryan Miller with the perfect period.

Is the score not 0-0????

Bennett had one bad defensive shift, otherwise pretty good.

Second and third lines might need some shuffling at some point. Not much chemistry or willingness to carry the puck and create clean offense, it seems. Almost like they have three fourth lines right now.

"Kari Ramo the busiest of the two goaltenders, but a perfect period from Ryan Miller."

What an odd period summary in a scoreless game with the shots 7-8.

I was just about to post that. What a strange comment.

I know he's only 18 but man it's going to be tough for the Flames to send Bennett down. Best player out there again and doesn't look out of place at all.

Why these homer/whiners get to call both games is beyond me. Garret's stache creeped me out. Don't anyone pan in on that corn row ####.

Per Ramage, I thought he looked good last pre season as well. I liked him in Penticton earlier as well. He's good on the point and seems pretty cool out there. Maybe his defence wasn't up to par in Abbotsford?

Come on Bennett put one in.

All but guaranteed to at least get his 9 game audition, one would think.

This positive affirmation by the panel of Bennett's ability to handle NHL physicality has me pretty excited. If he is this good at 18, and with TONS of room to grow physically, how good can this kid be?

Not able to watch but glad to see Ramo is shutting the door so far against a lopsided lineup. I like that guy.

I always wanted the Flames to draft Bennett and was elated when he dropped to us.

Watching him tonight kind of confirms why I liked the kid so much. In my opinion, there's no doubt in my mind the kid is the best player in this last draft. I watched the Leafs vs Sabres game earlier today and Reinhart is no where near the level that Bennett is. We're very lucky to have this guy.

Pretty much. The Flames most experienced defenseman in the lineup is Kris Russell.
