But Lanny McDonald went to school there. His picture is on the "wall of greats" or something like that in the front hallway.

WCHS Lethbridge opened about 9 years before the one in Calgary.

We had two pop machines at our Jr. High school.

They weren't always fully stocked, so I'd bring a bunch of the popular flavours that were always sold out and give them to my friends and sold / traded (a few cans here and there) to other random students.

shoot we had Papa Johns, Chic fil a and soda machines in my school....

They had a lock on em that would stop sales at lunch, however my garage key worked to turn the lock and I sold a few that way. I even sold a few soda's to the gym teacher and hall monitor

Well there is actually sugar in milk...

It's a pretty small amount, and I don't think there is any added sugar so you're good lol.

I've learned over the years, the thing about Nature, is you need to take a lot of its articles with a grain of salt. It's so competitive and prestigious to publish there that authors tend to over-represent their findings, and make claims that aren't well supported by their data. Both Nature and Science are big journals, but they also lead the charge in retracted articles.

I'm not implying these journals are poor in any way, but I'm always critical of articles that attract the attention of the mainstream media.

I am really interested in seeing more research done on the human microbiota, though. It's a major interest of mine. Very fascinating how different organisms can combine in different ways and have profound effects on their host.
