New phones look great but I'm still pretty happy with my 5S and will wait until my plan expires next fall before upgrading.

It will be interesting to see if the Jobs effect takes place with their new 'innovations'.

This is the first real big feature that already existed elsewhere since Jobs death they have introduced, as well as the iLegoWatch. I am curious to see if it will still have the "OMG is Apple Wizard?" effect like their re-invention of existing products did in the past. I believe the way Jobs would sell these features as "Must have, totally completely new... no really it is!" was part of the reason so many people jumped on board. I am curious to see if this will still happen, or if that ship has sailed without their master level salesman at the helm.

Watches are just too personal for me to have the same design as 300 million other people on my wrist. There is something incredibly nostalgic and cool, about having an intricate, self powered, little mechanical machine beating away on wrist when you wear a nice automatic watch. And these e-watches are definitely a fashion foul if you were to wear one with a suit.

LOL.

That's not expensive for a watch.

Price point may hurt.

People don't spend $350 for the phone due to the contract, spending $350 for an accessory on your wrist (that is pretty ugly IMO) will be tougher sell.

The $200 to $250 price point was a better spot for mass adoption.

Well with the screen size finally reasonable I can again consider Apple as an option for my next phone.

Price, and availability through wind will be deciding factors.

When you compare the Note edge to the Apple 6 plus it looks like Samsung is a generation ahead now with Apple trying to catch up on features like iPay. One thing I am interesed in seeing is how the battery performs on the 6 plus as that is one of the weaker areas on the note. If they can transfer the same battery performance from their other devices into the 6 plus that will be a definate advantage.

I want a watch strictly for notifications. When you get hundreds of emails and text messages a day pulling your phone out constantly is a little annoying. I am on call 24/7 so weekends at the park or what not are the worst for stopping and having to check whats going on, a quick who called/emailed/texted me is all I need to determine if I respond.

I agree the aesthetics are lacking in most/all smart watches.
