I couldn't pass up the reference. Sorry.
My team is surprising me. I mean you always think you drafted a good one, but I'm actually shocked the numbers they are putting up. I hope this isn't fast out of the gates and they will all suck by November.

I'm not being blown out in any categories. The winds can still shift!

I'm looking forward to the pool but the full scoring system has me a little confused. I'm pretty sure I had 9 points as of yesterday and did not have any players in action last night. This morning I am down to 7 points. That seems odd to me.

As far as I understand it, you and your matchup split points. So whoever is leading in each category gets the point for that category.
Because you didn't have players in action last night, your matchup likely pulled ahead in two categories, so you lost two points while they gained two points.

I finish ahead after tonight. I'm down 10-3, but I'm close on lots of categories

I understand how it works now. I was under the impression that points were awarded based on stats as opposed to winning or losing each statistical category.

Look at Mike Smith. A combo with Luongo left me hurting. Brutal 5.04GAA and .808 sv% together. Ouch

If I were cheating I would have figured out how to have Kuemper started in back-to-back weeks. I just had a few guys put up 3 point games last week and then Johnson put up 21 penalties last night, what was a nice bonus.
Hopefully picking up Frason off waivers will help out in some of the advanced stats I need help with (shots, hits, and blocks). My +/- is going to be awful most weeks though.

How do you pick someone up on waivers? I'm very confused
Edit: Figured it out. I'm an idiot

Damn, but now you can't be the one person that drafted Ferland. You didn't want that title anymore?

Nope. Lol. I'm not even sure how I got him. I must have added him to my auto draft list without thinking. I was thoroughly confused on how that happened

Are roster changes allowed daily, or are they for the week?

Daily, but sometimes you can't add them to your roster until the next day (depending on when you make the change, and if they're on waivers or whatever).

Just to clarify, I meant the lineup. As in, can I put a swap out an active winger for a bench winger?

Yes of course, you can also change your rosters in advance. Just move your days up and set them to whoever is playing that day. That way you don't need to make changes every day.

I thought it was weekly. Well, hopefully I figured that out early enough...
