Meh, not my cup of tee but whatever. I snooped on their website out of curiosity and it looks like it's $37 plus and $8 for a membership to attend. Based on that I wouldn't call this a group of exclusive rich people trying to seem important. Just a group of people having fun and doing something different.

So basically it's a large, themed version of the Finer Things Club.

Pretentious people?? Lol. I've now attended this 2 years in a row, last year it was at Pumphouse Park. It's hardly pretentious. It's not by invite only, anyone can register but if you've gone before you're automatically invited to the next one. Yes, you bring your own table, chairs, food and supplies with ya. But you can also get all of that there.

It's a pop up picnic that, to myself and my friends, is just people trying something different and having a good time. NYC had one this year that had over 5000 ppl.

I must admit, there are people that go all out on their outfits but, outside of a few, they are hardly pretentious. Frik, this one table of ladies were dressed all out in gowns and yet they all full body tats. (Sleeves and backs)

Anyways, had fun again this year and will be going to the next one.

Seems like "pretentious" is the new buzz word for 2016.

Not sure if it's an improvement on 2015's buzzword "entitlement"
