Bennett really plays on the edge. He looks like he is going to be a great shift disturber with skill although there are going to be a lot of PIMs and there will be some nights where he takes too many unnecessary penalties. And if he had connected on that elbow he would be out of this game and looking at an IIHF suspension.

Dominic (the machine) Mašín looks like a great choice by Tampa Bay too

Bennett has been very belligerent but he's still trying to score and make plays which is more than what can be said for the majority of Team Canada who seems content on getting revenge for the hit.

Yeah, I was expecting to see him play a lot when there were 5 players in the penalty box.

That's some serious garbage from Chase there.

Don't like it when Canada does stuff like this at international tournaments. Guys who normally wouldn't fight in the CHL trying to instigate things because they know they won't have to fight and also cause they know they have all the tough guys on their side.

That's good old Canadian hockey.
And it's good old Canadian hockey to retaliate when another team takes liberties. This is a game of intimidation as well as skill after all.

No Bennett in the last 7 or so minute makes me think he might be injured.

I bet Ritchie is going to get suspended for those sucker punches after the buzzer

79 minutes of penalties on 22 infractions today for Canada. Four 10 minute misconducts, to Ritchie x2 (head contact, fighting), Domi (head contact) and Bennett (roughing). Ritchie took 2-5-10 right at the end.

Czech player flips the bird to Canadian players after getting up off the ice after being mugged by Ritchie after the buzzer:

Bennett really does look like a shift disturber but I'd prefer to see him play a little more of a skilled game once he gets the other team off their game. It would be nice to have him as the "agitating" player and McDavid/Eichel as the finisher on the same line for the Flames......
