Someone should seriously think about what kind of Canada we are leaving for white children. All these different people are changing the place. If I know one thing, its that people who are different are bad. If they were good they'd be like us real Canadians.

Protesting anything to me seems to be the most useless activity, usually carried out by degenerates. Like I get people are concerned about their home countries but honestly what do you think you're accomplishing all you're doing is inconveniencing people by closing roads and diverting police resources. Sometimes (like once a decade) there's a really transcendent protest but like 99% of the time it's just a bunch of dbags blocking roads or parking lots.

most likely just to vent. reminds me of a couple of people that always sit in front of the Chinese consultant in Vancouver with their free Tibet signs. I can understand why people protest. In this case you are half way across the globe and now there is violence between the same 2 country's nationals. Once violence at any protest breaks out the cops need to get people dispersed.

The cop nails it on the head.

Like I said, both sides are stupid.

The issues are so complex and so fuelled by blind hatred it is impossible to say who's right and who's wrong. IMO both sides are idiots, and the conflict in that region will never end as long as religion is a component.

That's what I was saying earlier. It may be peaceful, but it's pretty passive aggressive.

Mr.Birrell should have got a name and badge number, right or not a cop should never tell someone who just got attacked it was his fault for being there.

Because that's exactly what he said

A cop suggesting common sense is pretty mild ... unless you're a hyper-sensitive baby.

I would disagree, the cop isn't allowed to be selective in law enforcement because of what a person has on.

It goes against freedom of expression especially if the guy is non violent.

If the guy gets assaulted because he's wearing a Israeli flag the cop has to intervene and arrest the assaulter and offer protection to the assaultee.

Its not up to the cop to say, well you got assaulted for wearing that flag, oh well lesson learned.

The cop was wrong.

There were no cops present when the fights took place obviously so the guy was asking a stupid question. If there were cops present not a single fight would have took place.

Like the cops said these type of rallies go on all the time and 99.9% of the time they are peaceful. They weren't expecting violence and weren't there until well after the fights were done. So that's why the cop didn't "intervene".

Haha what? Selective law enforcement happens all the time. Showing up with the flag crapped over yourself is antagonistic, the guy doing it knew it and the cop knew it. Not saying anyone deserves to get hit, but lets not go the babe in the woods route here.
