Yeah no matter what you believe in, I can't help but nod as I see all these tweets saying "God is punishing NED for cheating..."

Wow, it's going to be tough if they lose after that.

Robben actually loses scoring opportunities when he dives.

I think you have to consider this a moral victory for Costa Rica already. But they're really barely hanging there.

Irritating to see them dominate so badly and still be scoreless.

Just have to keep pushing and hope CR's luck runs out.

I do think there's a good chance the Dutch get a penalty kick in extra time. It's been very close a couple times now.

The last two offside calls were not offside.

Bold move to use the last substitution, with Navas hurting his knee a bit.

Dutch really taking rirsks with pushing from behind inside the box. Another ref might have called that.

Yeah that was embarrassing, he looked at the linesman as if to say, was that dive not good enough? I'm clearly not hurt as I'm no longer in distress.

This looked a lot better for Costa Rica than the end of 2nd half.

Dutch must be getting nervous, with their history in the shootout and Costa Ricans scoring 5 for 5 against Greece.

It still feels like inevitable doom for Costa Rica though

People often ask me why the more talented Dutch never win and the Germans always do.

This is exhibit Z. The Germans don't get stymied but such pipsqueaks.
