Eiher way, you really get the sense they might actually make it to the end of 120 minutes with Howard back there.

Yeah well Algerians had a good goalie, Costa Rica had a good goalie but the Greek tied it, Mexico had a good goalie, Nigeria had a good goalie... The Swiss lasted until 117 minutes...

It's pretty much a matter of who outlasts the other, the Belgian offense or the US defense. If the Belgians run out of steam I think a shootout it is.

I don't see the US scoring, they're pretty beat while the Belgian defense has had plenty of rest.

Yeah I'd say it was more about a fresh guy vs. tired guys.

Besides, it would be unfair to fault the US defense at this point. This game was lost when Belgium took over the midfield. (Well, not lost yet, but you get my point.)
