I'm not sure what his 9 scenarios would be. To me, assuming the Flames remain at 4th, regardless of whether picks are traded to other teams or not, there are at least 10 scenarios the Flames should be prepared for:
Scenario 1: Ekblad, Reinhart and Bennett are selected with the first 3 picks and Draisaitl is left at 4.
Scenario 2: Ekblad, Reinhart and Draisaitl are selected with the first 3 picks and Bennettt is left at 4.
Scenario 3: Ekblad, Bennett and Draisaitl are selected with the first 3 picks and Reinhart is left at 4.
Scenario 4: Reinhart, Bennett and Draisaitl are selected with the first 3 picks and Ekblad is left at 4.
Scenario 5: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Bennett and Draisaitl are left at 4.
Scenario 6: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Reinhart and Draisaitl are left at 4.
Scenario 7: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Ekblad and Draisaitl are left at 4.
Scenario 8: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Bennett and Reinhart are left at 4.
Scenario 9: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Bennett and Ekblad are left at 4.
Scenario 10: 1 player outside of the top 4 is selected with the first 3 picks and Reinhart and Ekblad are left at 4.
