More challenging? I decided to try a game on Classic difficulty for the first time, and the ramp up from normal is insane. Thin men in particular are brutal on that difficulty, they hardly ever miss a shot and seem to crit half the time. My first encounter with a cyberdisk was nothing short of a disaster as well, even moving slowly and putting as many guys in overwatch as I could

I find Long War really makes you appreciate Suppression skills. They don't always work (Cyberdisks still have that Death Blossom ability that can easily cause Code Blacks if they decide to charge in close to you) but it at least keeps the granade and long range shooting at bay.

I also absolutely hate late game Thin Men on Long War. Those late game ones with 25 HP, Acid attacks, Lightning Reflexes, HP Regeneration, and more...

...Then come the Ethereals on Terror missions...

By the way, Papers, Please is on sale. It's one of my favourite indie games and an excellent political game.

Regularly looking at licenses, double checking expiry dates/photos... I feel you.

Also playing with a touch screen laptop with Papers, Please makes it feel amusingly more realistic.

Well I guess the good news is that you'll typically only see one per map (as the mod adds "commander" units and Thin Men curve based on how late you are in the game. That plus you'll have 8 soldiers probably capable of 7-8 damage to deal with them.

I've played this 3 or 4 times. Don't forget the visit to the Nexus Mod community!

Didn't make it to my first re-election bid - I was assassinated by the Crusaders of the Lord.

Thinking about Skyrim but I usually don't play stock games. Does anybody have recommendation for best mods or a good mod package? I think I spent a year modding Oblivion and never actually even started the main quest because of all the trial and error with mods as they first came out.

Use nexus mod manager

Go to Nexus forums and click on Top files. Obviously the 2K mods, weather mods and the armor and weapon remolding are great, but there are better skeletons for cooler NPC moves and FNIS and SKSE which are important for a lot of mods. Sofia - The Funny Fully Voiced Follower if you want to be insulted all the time. Cloaks of Skyrim, Ultimate Follower Overhaul, HDT Physics Extensions, Helgen Reborn, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth.

Start there.

Google skyrim gems (gameplay enhancing mods) and it is a gigantic list of well made mods split into different categories...

I browse it and then use the Nexus Mod Manager to get the interesting ones.

Big mods that are good and highly regarded? I'd suggest Skyrim redone and SkyUI for sure.
