I wonder what happens with the Adirondack GM then if Conroy will be promoted to AGM for the NHL Flames.
Right now they have no coach (Ward's contract expired) and if Conroy stays full time with the NHL Flames, they will have no GM.

I like that they're building a team of people with strong hockey management backgrounds and no previous ties to the Flames. It is definitely not the old boys club at the Saddledome.
I also find it funny that people's first reaction upon seeing his name is, "Is that Cassie's husband?"

Most AHL teams' GMs are one of their parent club's AGMs. Treliving served as the GM for Portland while he was Phoenix's AGM.
Conroy or Pascall will most likely assume those duties next season.

This management team is really young. Treliving is the oldest at 44, Pascall is 43, and Conroy is 42. All of them have unique backgrounds and each bring a lot of different things to the team. Throw Brian Burke at the top to guide these guys and it becomes a group that looks like it's going to be a round for a while. Longterm vision and stability is exactly what this franchise needs with the amount of turnover we've had in recent years.
