It won't be missed. They used to be awesome burgers, but whatever they've done to their meat in the last few years has made them almost inedible, very rubbery and almost no flavor

I'm excited to try it out to see what all the fuss is about, but I fly out Sunday, so if they're closed, no luck for me. Maybe when I get back later in the week.

I'm looking forward to find out if it's as good as the Southern counterpart.
Unfortunately, knowing Calgary, it will be half assed Seeing reviews saying it's delicious does give me some hope though.

We are doing a work carpool at lunch to go try it out before anything crazy and controversial happens and it disappears. I will report back on how it compares

I really wouldn't be surprised if the place is a mad house at lunch today with a long line.

Apparently the chicken they use for their sandwiches is brined and frozen in central locations, then shipped out to the stores where it is thawed, seasoned, dipped, coated, and fried in peanut oil. The seasoning, dip, and coating are all also prepared in a central location and shipped to the stores in bags. Both the seasoning and the seasoned coating contain a variety of ingredients including MSG, that certainly contributes to the final result.

Yuck, Chik-Fill-A isn't great to begin with, I can't imagine it being any better shipped to Canada. I guess anyone with peanut allergies cant eat here either.

First off, you sir are wrong! Obviously your opinion that Chik-fil-a is valid since it is your beliefs however....
IT IS SO GOOD!!!!!!! There are some pros and cons to this new location however.
Pros
- Freaking delicious!
- They have head office staff their to introduce and explain what they are about
- Nearly same friendly service as in states. They took my trash right off my table
- Quality was on par to the stateside locations and better than my last visit in San Diego
Cons
- Limited menu. They are starting out with only chicken/chicken deluxe sandwiches and nuggets. No grilled or spicy or chicken strips
- Took about 5-6 mins to get the food a little slower than normal but they were on top of the orders and kept you in the loop so you weren't feeling forgotten
-At the airport you obviously have to pay for parking we were over the 30 mins
They advised if the rollout goes well and people embrace the store they will roll out more menu items. We also seemed to be the first people to venture out who did not work at the airport. The head office guy who greeted us was ecstatic to hear we traveled to the store.
