EPL, Liga, Serie A,... That will make me happy. Tired of the standard def goal channel. *gag*

Speed Channel has just been dropped by Bell TV and I expect it's just a matter of time until other providers drop it as well. I can't remember the reason but it has something to do with it being changed over to Fox Sports in the States. I'm not a big fan of this channel but I like my Moto GP motorcycle races, so I'm hoping TSN picks up some programming from the Speed Channel.

I would be far more interested in watching rugby over the CFL.

That's why I love SN1 during the daytime. But there is always room for more. A lot of the Canoe/Kayak, bobsleigh/skeleton, cross country skiing etc. is already tape delayed and packaged. A lot of us fans have already seen the results and live coverage from other sources.
Plus, there are so many other live sports that could be included - the IAAF Diamond League for example, which starts this weekend, swimming, figure skating.

Well, I think TSN would hype the Under 18 before they hype the Under 17. Quite a few draft eligible players play in that tourney.
But with 5 channels, they'll probably hype both the Under 18 and Under 17

Not sure if SN owns all MLB rights, or just the Blue Jays, but I'm sick of having them rammed down my throat.
I am all over extended MLB coverage on all TSN channels.
Also like the documentary style programs. 30 for 30, etc. Maybe they'll kill ESPN Classic Canada and move some of that programming over.
More sports documentaries, sports movies and feature shows on regional teams (Flames this week etc.). I'm a bit biased, but YES network programming is great. Coaches shows. Replays of recent or historically significant games. Documentaries of players, games, franchises etc.

TSN has the same rights as ESPN - Sunday, Monday and Wednesday games of the week.
Rogers has pretty much the rest of it. And it shouldn't be surprising that the Canadian team's games being available all the time. That's only been the case for 30 years.
That being said, I really wish Sportsnet wouldn't shove the Yankees down our throats on Sportsnet West. Or, at the very least, just not the vomit-inducing YES broadcasts.

If you believe George Cope, nothing.

That's good to know. If you're not a New York fan, I can see how their home broadcast may rub you wrong, but I wouldn't consider 3 of the Yankees first 33 games being "shoved down your throat".

Long term trend. Like every other media outlet, Sportsnet picks its favourites for each regional network. SN West typically gets Yankee and Dodger games. Personally, I would rather they mix them up. At the same time, my disdain isn't for the Yankees but rather for Michael Kay, whose play calling I would liken to three hours of nails on the chalkboard.

It's a delicate balance cause I love listening to Ken Singleton.

Sportsnet does it that way so the viewer will buy the other SN channels.

Nothing on Shaw's site about these yet. I assume they will be part of the Sports 1 and/or Sports 2 packs. Probably split between both.

I'm not willing to pay more than having TSN2 as part of my Shaw package to watch sports I have zero interest in like rugby, mountain biking, table tennis, NASCAR/Indy car racing, etc. Most of that crap is on TSN 2 anyway. I don't care about some racer with sponsors I no vested interest in, in a sport that doesn't matter to me.
Screw TSN. They had their chance and dropped it. I hope the CFL goes elsewhere. Their coverage is absolute garbage. Screw them.

I agree, like I need 5 channels to know that TSN has nothing to offer.
