Thank you for everything CP. Good memories and thankful for everything that has been done to help me out. I will no longer take part on these boards. Take care, Go Flames Go.
Would love to see Iggy. Boston is my first choice
put $50 on Colorado around December at 22/1. Cheering for them second
put $50 on St. Louis at the beginning of the year at 12/1. Cheering for them third
Interesting to me how much more excited I am to see Iggy win a cup this year versus last. Maybe just too fresh him leaving (which was the right thing), or a little bitter over him blocking the deal to Boston, or that I really don't like the Pens that much, but this year I'm pretty excited for him to win in Biston.
Dallas, Columbus and Iggy. And L.A, and CHI. Those are my teams this year that I will cheer for. Not much of a fan of the East team. Oh! and Philly as well. There.
Boston in the East. I want to see them add an extra ring to the Stanley Cup just so they can engrave the name Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla.
St. Louis in the West, for the best possible reason. 11 teams have been in the league every season since the 1967 expansion. Cup winners from those 11 teams:
Boston – 1970, 1972, 2011
Chicago – 2010, 2013
Detroit – 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008
Montreal – 1968, 1969, 1971, 1973, blah, blah, blah
NY Rangers – 1994
Los Angeles – 2012
Minnesota/Dallas – 1999
Philadelphia – 1974, 1975
Pittsburgh – 1991, 1992, 2009
St. Louis – Not yet
Toronto – NEVER
If the Blues win, the Leafs get the futility record all to themselves – the last team to have played since 1967 without ever winning the Cup. It would look good on them, and the Hockey Gods would rejoice.

Pretty much neutral when it comes to St. Louis and LA. I'd cheer for the Avs, except I'm still bitter over their tank job last season. Love it every year when the Sharks get eliminated, I hope their playoff woes continue. And I'd like to see a new team represent the west, so probably not gonna be pulling for Chicago. And I hate the Wild. Let's just say I'm not good at getting behind any team that isn't the Flames. The only exception will be for Boston.
Edit: Another exception this year: Columbus. Love me an underdog team. Really gonna be pulling for these guys.
