The one thing that will be nice without CBC is that you won't have the situation where you can't watch a game because they only have on feed.

Sportsnet will have plenty of space.

Schwartz has been the best player for either team. Developing into an outstanding player!

I agree. It is brutal that CHEX-TV cannot show the Kings-Sharks game while the CBC network shows the overtime.

Awesome play by Bouw to cut off Hossa, after Pietrangelo lost him

Am I the only one who forgets until the playoffs how good Hossa really is? He'd be the best player on a lot of teams but on Chicago he's almost an afterthought. He's gotta be the calmest guy in the league with the puck.

I still think a puck over the glass should be treated like an icing.

This could be one of those 3 overtime games.

It's too bad the Blues have so many people playing hurt. They had everything in place this season.

Yeah, it kinda looks like it.

And I know I know it's only game one of the opening series, but I don't think this bodes well for Chicago over the long run/defending the Cup. Toews already looks beat and no matter which way (or how long) this one goes, they are in it for the long run against a bruising team.

So far this series is living up to the high expectations fans had for it. What an awesome first game so far. I really want to cheer for the Blues but I just hate Lapierre so much.

MacLean has said that Backes and Toews could be injured.

^^^ the Blues have about 5 players playing hurt (Including Pietrangelo) that might end up being the difference in this series. Especially if the Bouwmeester injury is anything serious.
