If Niemi hadn't made a couple of big saves earlier in this period it could be a tie game, what happened to the Sharks of the first two periods? Complacency I guess.

Hrudey - "could you imagine what the score would be if Niemi didn't make those 3 incredible saves earlier".

I don't know Kelly, 6-5?

Shaky goaltending throughout the playoffs thus far, and actually in the last few weeks of the regular season when you think about it.

Both Mark Lee and Kelly Hrudey were terrible. Lee kept making mistakes and Hrudey was being far too positive and not criticizing each team's bad plays.

hoping for a great battle tonight. Last night of the long weekend where i was stuck watching the baby boy on my own wiht the wife at work. i plan to make up for a long weekend's worth of drinking tonight and suffer for it tomorrow morning.

Surprised to be saying this, but the heart wants what it wants, and it seems to be rooting for the sharks.

Big goal for the Kings. They are much better front runners as they aren't built to play from behind.

LA is no longer playing hockey. They've adopted football strategies. Tackle everyone

Absolutely, but the refs are letting both teams get away with so much, which also makes it better too watch

Quick is in a zone, but I never understood why defenders push the other team on top of their goalie in a scrum

Amazing watching these teams play. Both of them manage the puck so well, lots of speed. Quick has been the difference so far, I think the Sharks have had more quality chances.

Alright. Looks like LA came to play tonight.

If the Kings take this game in SJ, the Sharks can say goodnight. We've seen this song and dance before (Blues, anyone?). The opponent gets their punches in early, then LA takes over and stifles the opponent the rest of the way.

It is night and day...these two teams are so much better than Montreal or TB.

Sad that one team will be out in a week and Montreal will advance

Montreal would lose 4 straight to Kings or Sharks.
