It is easy to see why Breen keeps getting recalled. He is a big young defenseman who has been playing good in the AHL. He is also on the last year of his contract with an organisation that is not deep at defence and there was no risk of losing him on waivers when sent back down.

Unfortunately his few shifts in the NHL have not gone well. I really hope that changes on this call up but Hartley is going to make Breen earn his ice time, he won't just automatically be given 15 minutes to see what he has got.

No arguments here, I just hope he gets more than 2 games this time so we can actually see him

At least Tyler will keep getting nhl dollars(?) due to injury while with the Flames.

The only thing similar between Cundari and Gio is their haircut and 5'ocklock shadow. Cundari at best is a much worse version of Marc Andre Bergeron. Maybe the Oilers might be interested in a PP specialist to play with Schultz.

So, they called up two defensemen and only one(Wotherspoon) out due to injury. Is this mean they weren't happy with Chad Billins play so he will go back to Abby??

Looks like the boys have been skipping shoulder day in the gym.

D Jones, Granlund, Smid and Wotherspoon all out with shoulder injuries.

Don't think Billins goes back. I suspect another defenseman is playing through an injury and the extra guy they called up is a just in case for the remainder of the road trip.

Yeah, after our injury trends early in the season they probably added an extra foot day at the gym and started neglecting shoulders.
