No, it's ROW which stands for Regulation and Overtime Wins.

We have 24 while the Isles have 22.

Canucks need to just stay the course, a lot of things went wrong this year, I'm sure they'll make it in next year. Just get in to the playoffs and anything can happen.

They just need to stock up on 20 goal scorers.

They should fire Torts and hire Brent.

Teräväinen made his debut with the Hawks tonight... looked real solid. Kind of disappointing that he could of been a Flame if Feaster didn't trade down and pick Jankowski.

It was actually MacTavish that started the press conference off by saying that. I love watching that video.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/standings.htm...d=nav-stn-main

Quote:
Tie-Breaking procedure If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:

  • The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
  • The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout. This figure is reflected in the ROW column.
  • The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
  • The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season. NOTE: In standings a victory in a shootout counts as one goal for, while a shootout loss counts as one goal against.

babcock called last night's game a playoff game for his wings. What a miserable display that was. I guess a lot of this can be attributed to their key injuries, but sure feels like their playoff record is coming to an end.

I don't know about that...they have to beat out two pretty inferior teams in Toronto and Washington and they currently hold the last playoff spot. I think they make it.
