Tired legs and questionable decisions by Hartley tonight. Gio and Cammy with back to back bad games. Hope they fix that, and yes it will be nice to get Hudler back in the lineup. Hanowski is in over his head on this call up. Otherwise the kids are playing decent. Granlund looks like he might be a diamond in the rough. Back at it on Monday against a tough Kings team, it might not be pretty. I would expect Joey to get the start in that one.

I thought Gio was great offensively today. Almost a third of the flames total shots.

Don't want to catch Vancouver.

Probably in the minority here, but I really want the canucks to make the playoffs again. Just to get swept in the first round again. It would be glorious.

I don't think with such a crappy draft that the canucks will be able to get anything of impact this year, even if the Flames pass them other teams will keep them out of the top 4 or 5 where the blue chippers are.

I agree watching them get crushed in the playoffs would be nice, but my big fear is that they will offload Kesler and Edler for prospects in the offseason and take a dive for McDavid/Eichel next year.

Nothing would piss me off more than them putting together an elite young core before the Flames after so man years of suckage. McDavid and Eichel are going to make two teams contenders for a decade.

Teams like the Red Wings and Canucks can rebuild faster than the Flames if they have the courage to do what the Flames should have done 3 or 4 years ago.

The Canucks made this a lot less likely with their G moves, unless either Lack or Markstrom turns into a legit #1
