From the Coaches Comment:
• Ward was happy with the system play. Thought they did well and were patient and made things happen. Good solid effort, nothing outstanding.
• Credits Corey Locke with helping Sven's game. Has a calming effect on Sven and that he will get the puck to Sven alot. Sven realized that he is in the AHL for the long term now and he's accepted it and settled in and it's helped his game.
• Veteran's have allowed the young guys play with more confidence. They let the young guys feel more free and protected and take more chances without worrying so much about mistakes.
• Possible that the travel will hit them today. If it does, they will go to the simple game. Ward expects it to hit at somepoint as they are human so if it does during the game, they will change their game.
