The IIHF, they won the World Championship's last year, so it makes sense why they are.

Canada is actually ranked 5th.

Won't be surprised if match fixing scandal comes up in a bit against the Czech coach. There is nothing else that can explain the way the team is structured

Unlikely, it's not the first tie-breaker. He's just an idiot, maybe he has a vendetta against the national program itself, which is why he selected a garbage team and played the backups today.
