I know most are watching hockey, but the Canadians are currently sitting in fourth in Doubles Luge. About half a second back from first and 0.05 seconds back from third.

Middle of the first round still (looks like 6 sliders left to go). Only a two run event so we'll see how the rest of this run goes.

Yeah, it's going to be anyone's game for the medals (well, after gold). The Austrian and Italian teams are quite strong. It was so uncharacteristic to see a German sled falter, but never count out the Germans.

Apparently neither does the NHL's though.

Last 10 pairings are up for the 1000m. Morrison will be up in one of the last pairings.

Snith/Walker are definitely close enough to move up and grab a spot on the podium. 0.064 seconds out of 3rd and 0.172 seconds out of 2nd.

I'll be cheering hard for their 2nd run!

Boy are the Germans raking in the gold medals. They'll have another gold here in Luge, another gold tomorrow in Luge, Gold in Nordic Combined today, and currently in 1st place even in the 1000m speedskating by setting a track record (5 pairs left).

Man - the mental aspect of speedskating would kill me. Being 'behind' because you started on the outside lane would be so tough.'

And Morrison is now sitting in the silver medal position.

Amazing, I haven't seen him look that good in a while.

Can't believe Shani Davis was that slow, wow.
