My point is the more I hear about the guy, the more I like him because he doesn't fit the stereotype I had imagined for him initially. Which would have been a heavy drinking doufus who gets punched in the head for a living. Turns out he's not actually really like that.

Besides, I never "actively" searched these things out, I'm just a flames fan that happened across them, often through this board.

And these guys probably don't holiday in the middle of the season like we holiday......eat and drink until they drop.

You know they pretty much do the same thing every all star break right? Player's in general I mean.

He used to have a drinking habit but has been sober for years. He (among other times) talked about it in an interview he gave recently.
If you do a little bit more research I doubt you'll be disappointed. The guy is pure class.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The more I hear, the more I like the guy.

Flames players read CP from time to time. It appears we're all being very smart in-deed.

Grats would reach through your screen to pummel you...actually the death stare is a big enough deterrent.

Could care less if she is referred to as a puck bunny. I will never have the opportunity to talk with either of them in this lifetime. Just wanted a bikini photo, which was posted. They are probably both terrific people.

I have a feeling her and Grats are behind the Boring Monahan twitter account.

If the Stajan's are on vacation with the McGrattan's then I am going to assume they are fairly close.

So maybe it's Matt Stajan behind it and follows McGrattan with the account to point to his buddy.

Not a great deal but again - one involving bad contracts across the board.
When Jones' plays well he actually is a valuable player. He's just inconsistent - like Tanguay was.

I was impressed with him at the start of the year and recently - if he can be that player more often - not bad.

Either way though a deal involving 4 bad contracts.

Not losing sleep over it because I don't think any of these guys were movable unless it was for other cruddy contracts.

Sarich isn't really on a bad contract. It expires this year so it would be very tradable at this point in time. The lack of value he had during this off season is partially due to how the Flames handled him, its pretty clear now that he is better than SOB

If the trade was simply jones for tanguay i wouldn't hate it. If we still had Sarich we could hopefully get a pick for him

Gio - Brodie
Smid - Wideman
Russell - Sarich
Butler...

Is actually an alright D group, very balanced
