I hate the Jets, but the Canuck hate is on another level.

The delayed penalty doesn't go away? Damn I never heard of that rule change.

was a double minor, it looked like the jet D man was cut up and bleeding. double minor becomes a single minor

I believe it's because there was blood, so it would have been a double minor. The goal cancelled out the first penalty, so he only had to serve one.

In the NCAA, if a team scores on a delayed penalty, the penalty still must be served.

There was no rule change. Ferraro is just an idiot. Double minors are classified as two separate penalties, so the goal only wiped out the first minor.

LOL. Amazing.

Best part about it... the young kid with a canucks jersey isn't impressed.

Yeah that's what I initially thought but Ferraro said there was a rule change but I guess I should have known he's an idiot and was talking out his ass.

Well he should get used to disappointment.

Two teams in opposite directions now.

Have to admit the Jets look like a different team under Maurice. Still think they are in tough in the West to be anything other than a bubble team for many years but they are making things interesting at least.

Only sixpoints back of hte canucks for the final wild card spot and the canucks could certainly piss that lead away if they keep losing. They`re a below .500 team now. Finally scoring some goals but giving them up too now, Eddie Lack had a heroic game and still gave up four.

Preached it all season long but the canucks system was too predictable and too aggressive all season long and that teams would eventually dismantle it. It`s happening now.

One final note. Dan Hamhuis looks awful this season. Zero confidence with the puck and not great without it either. It`s disappointing that team Canada always seems to ignore current play when selecting that one or two guys they have a soft spot for. Hamhuis likely won`t play in Sochi as a No. 8 guy anyway so its probably irrelevant but he shouldn`t be there.

A couple of years ago, there was a rule change to the way delayed penalties were handled. Prior to the change, if a team was on a PP when they scored on a delayed penalty, the PP ended and the delayed penalty was also wiped out (which made no sense). I don't know what happened in the case of a delayed double-minor under that rule.

So, it's possible Ferraro was correct, or was mistakenly thinking about that old rule. It's also possible he's just an idiot.

You know what!?

That's the coolest thing. Them bunch of diving ### lame bunch of whiney turds got what they really deserved. A regulation loss to the Jets.

Vancouver sucks. Always hate their team. A misfit organization who always thinks they're the victim. I don't think I'm that guy. I just see what is coming and don't like it one single bit.

If you want to come here, go to Vancouver and put on their pathetic rag of a jersey. They feel they are mistreated all the time. They dive, whine, embellish, and complain to no end. They try to start fights, but can't finish them. Then when challenged, they turtle. Pathetic organization.

And..they still think they're good. Try that jersey on for size. Enjoy their anthem. Puke.

<just say no to online dating from abroad>

Haha. Was fun while it lasted.

What would a Canuck fan say when faced with the script that they left it all out on the ice??

Well then, a jewelry box should do just fine if you insist! Scrape up the rest with the zamboni! Either way, it's a bunch of tears!
