Miller should be the starter, Quick is going to have to steal the job from him or hope Miller craps the bed to get more than one or two starts. Funny how Miller is probably the best goalie in the NHL this year, and yet he plays for a team which is in dead last.

With Quick's past playoff performances he may get the starting job. They know that Quick can win the big games. But Miller played in 2010 and was great then, so he may get the job just because of that. Really tough to say.

Ya but only a few months ago they were talking about how the job was Quicks to lose... and in the Burnside blogs alot of the USA braintrust wondered if Miller could handle being the backup...
I'm not saying Quick is the starter but I think its like Canada where its a two horse race and the 3rd guy is merely insurance.
Out of the teams that have a chance I figure only Finland (Rask), Sweden (Lundqvist), Swizarland (Hiller), Slovakia (Halak) and the Czech's (Pavelec) have clear cut number 1's.
Canada could be Luongo or Price.
USA could be Miller or Quick
Russia could be Bobrovsky or Varlomov (although I do think its Varlomov's job to lose - but Bob's Vezina still is a factor)

Ah I searched for Bäckström in the text, how dumb of me. In that case I pick Loui Eriksson!
