Read the meat of the article, skipped over the ending where he answered my question.
Still damning accusations that will either lead to a huge defamation lawsuit towards Kluwe or some career changing black marks on Priefer and potentially Fraizer and Spielman.

Titans fire head coach Mike Munchak.
Also, Detroit interviews Jim Caldwell for their head coaching vacancy. That would not be a good hire for Detroit. Seeing him often as coach of the Colts, he is a nice person but he makes absolutely terrible coaching decisions during the game.

O Brien is cleaning house in Houston.
Wade Phillips fired today and to be replaced by Romeo Crennel.
Dennison fired as OC as well.

I wonder if he'll recruit Charlie Weiss as OC and Pioli as GM....
Crennell is a truely awful head coach, but very good as a DC. Good hire for O'Brien.

I suspect we'll eventually find out he's killed more than a few people
Quote:
A just-released search warrant provides new details into why Boston law enforcement authorities have identified accused killer and former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez as a suspect in a 2012 double homicide.
The document, filed as part of the probe and released Tuesday in Superior Court in Bristol, indicates police suspect Hernandez was in an SUV that circled a block waiting for the victims to enter their own vehicle before the 2 a.m. drive-by shooting. The silver SUV then pulled up next to the victims' car at a stoplight, and someone inside fired five or six shots in rapid progression, killing two and injuring one of the five men in the other car. The warrant does not indicate whether there is evidence that Hernandez was the man who pulled the trigger.
|
Quote:
Surveillance footage from just after midnight on June 16 shows Hernandez arriving at a parking garage in Boston, driving a silver Toyota 4Runner with Rhode Island plates, the warrant states. The same car was seized in June from 114 Lake Ave., the Bristol home owned by Hernandez's uncle, after authorities recovered it during a search for evidence in the Lloyd case.
A different camera later captured Hernandez and Bradley entering Cure immediately after the victims, according to the document. Hernandez downed two drinks, and left with Bradley 10 minutes later. Surveillance footage shows them leaving the garage in the 4Runner around 1:30 a.m., with Hernandez in the driver's seat and Bradley in the front passenger's seat.
What the two men did next is unclear. But by the time the victims left Cure an hour later, a car resembling the Toyota was back in the area. As the victims walked to the same garage, the 4Runner was captured on surveillance footage looping the block, circling the victims at a slow speed, in the lane closest to the sidewalk.
Boston police responded to a call of shots fired at 2:32 a.m. A witness who was in the car with the victims and injured in the shooting told authorities that the other vehicle contained a driver and a rear-seat passenger. Other bystanders who called police to inform them of the shooting Shawmut Avenue and Herald Street in Boston's South End gave descriptions that roughly matched those of Hernandez, Bradley and the car they were driving, according to the warrant.
Evidence recovered at the scene led authorities to believe that the murder weapon was a .38- or .357-caliber handgun. Police in June seized a .38-caliber pistol as evidence in the case, after it was found in the trunk of a car driven by a Bristol woman following a crash in Springfield. Jai Lene Diaz-Ramos, who faces three illegal firearms charges, told police friends put the gun in her car.
The 4Runner towed in June had been parked in the garage of the Bristol home for about a year, and was covered in cobwebs, authorities said. It was a demo model from a rental company that was given to Hernandez in exchange for the star tight end's doing promotions. Company representatives told authorities that they had contacted Hernandez's agent about the car, but had not heard back from him, the warrant released Tuesday indicates. A cousin of Hernandez who lives at the house told authorities the vehicle was "Aaron's" and nobody drove it.

Manziel has filed to enter draft. Expected to be early to mid first rounder?

I will be surprised if Manziel is still around when the draft hits double digits, I think maybe 4 or 5 to the Browns or the Raiders, he'll be fun to watch if he gets to start next year.
As for the Browns, I wonder if potential coaches are seeing them as more of a dangerous choice to go for a HC job, I get that there are only so many HC jobs in the league, but would you go in after seeing so many changes so quickly... I wonder who ends up there?

My guess is Ben Macadoo, Green Bay's QB coach.

If Blake Bortles is a top-10 lock (and at this point he appears to be), how can Manziel not be? The rookie wage scale has totally changed drafting QBs. Basically 70% less financial risk to draft a QB in the top 10 than there used to be.

Bridgewater, Manziel & Bortles will all very early in the draft. You can pretty much through Carr's name in there as well.

It's got to be completely insane of me to NOT want the Vikings to draft a QB in the first round if Bridgewater, Broles & Manziel are gone before the 8th overall pick, right?!

Looks like Jay Gruden is RGDiva's pick to be the next Redskins coach. Amazing that Griffin apparently has complete sway over Dan Snyder. Of course there's a reason the Redskins are the 2nd biggest joke in the NFL after the Cowboys. Wonder what it could be...

John Gruden is really good buddies with Allen so I suspect that's where that comes from more so than RG3.

So are you saying the Vikings do not need to draft a QB in the first round even if those 4 go off the board before the Vikings get a chance to pick?
If that is in fact the case....I do agree as the way they ended up with Christian Ponder, was pretty much doing that exact thing. If the guys who you like as first round talents go before you do what is reasonable to move up and get them and you are still picking 8th..and the next guy on your list is looking like a 2nd round talent or less I think you either explore a trade to move back, or target your guy in the second round. I think you can come up from the 2nd round a bit to get the guy you want, as teams who got a QB early won't be in the market for one come round 2.

If Manziel is gone before 8 I'll be floored. I wouldn't take him at 8, I really don't think he's going to make the jump well. Granted, there are a lot of teams with question marks at QB up at the top of the board.
