Isner dropped the first set 6-2. Tsonga down a break to a clay-courter. Nishikori is a set apiece against an Australian. Dmirtrov is a set apiece to a qualifier.

Remember this is the group of death and it's 106 degrees out there. Milos needs to wrap this up fast.

Raonic is important now, so important now TSN has Jim Van Horne doing the commentary instead of taking the international feed.

Would prefer the international feed...they can be hilarious...

Why must TSN force the ESPN feed upon us? The international commentary is far better.

Paire screaming (and then cursing) in french.

International commentator: "I took french in school but I'm not translating that!"

It's 9-9 in the 1st set tiebreak, whoever loses this long set in the heat will be hurt real bad.

Nishikori's five set win was phenomenal! Fantastic tennis. But yeah...that heat. Damn.

Dancevic passed out and got some treatment midway through the 2nd set.

He's now dropped the 2nd set.. not sure if he'll continue.

Nice little feature on Pospisil:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...l-Feature.aspx

Quote:
“My goals are always changing,” continued the right-hander. “The more you move up, the more you want to do. The goal last year was to finish Top 50, which I accomplished. Now that I’m ranked No. 30, we set our goal to be Top 20, which is going to be extremely difficult. It’s a lot easier said than done. But it’s always important to want to reach higher than where you are now. I think as long as I have that in mind, then I can give myself a chance to get there.”

Dancevic falls in three. He was still running everything down, had a break point to get back in the 3rd set but couldn't convert.

Did I hear that correctly? Did they say that the temperature on the court was 145 degrees farenheit? That's like 62 degrees Celsius. That's impossible.

Is there any objective confirmation of the temperature on the court? The highest I can gather from media reports is 42-43 degrees Celsius.

5 players withdraw due to heat complications.

Several Extreme Heat related delays. Compulsory 10 minute match break.
