Colborne was dreadful. Colborne hasn't been scratched a bunch of times in November. As an example.
I can't think of a coach on any team in a long time that has shown this level of favortism.
Anyone that can't see that Backlund, Baertschi, and Ramo are bing measured to a different standard then everyone else isn't looking very hard.

I don't agree with this at all colborne has been great for what the team is predicting him to be which is a good third line centre sven hasn't shown he is developing into a 1st line player at all he needs to fix his game

Desperate for playing time, Baertschi secretly dresses up in Ramo's equipment (as Ramo's injury is worse than initially thought). Flames down 7-0 within the first 10 minutes before Ramo (Baertschi) is finally pulled for Berra.
Flames come back to win 8-7 in a shootout that goes 17 rounds. Butler with the winner.

I can't stand the over-sensitive fans that complain every time Sven sits. He has sucked this year he gets knocked off the puck with ease and seems to be trying to do too much this year.
I don't get the Hartley hate either. No coach is getting anywhere with this roster and playing all your kids 20min a game because they are your future is how you end up like Edmonton who is poised to miss the playoffs for 8 straight years even though they have 3 1st overall picks and poised to get their 7th top 10 pick in 8 drafts.

Colborne plays centre. Monahan has been underwhelming in a bunch of games in November as well. He didn't sit out because he's a centre.

Well that's the thing right there. He looks good as a 3rd liner while playing 2nd line minutes with 2nd line players? The team was brutal last game and Hartley didn't shake anything up :/ He completely baffles me almost every game with his lines and ice time.

Gonna be another ugly one tonight, as we slowly close in on 30th place. I don't think we'll be able to out-suck Buffalo or the Oilers, but the Flames are sure giving it the old college try.

Byron is a C. Backlund has been on the fourth line why those guys continue to play and get minutes.
People are making excuses for Hartley. It doesn't matter what the Flames do. Some people will ALWAYS defend them.

And there are always people sitting in front of their keyboards that think they know more than the coaching staff.

Pretty much everyone on a Flames message board. Unless you aren't here to state an opinion.
People that do have NHL playing, coaching, and GM experience have commented with raised eyebrows on these decisions. Seeing players being held to different standards doesn't take 10 years in coaching to figure out.

Colborne has been getting better - his faceoff percentage has improved - more confidence with the puck - and some points
Baertschi is making the same mistakes over and over again - he has a lot of talent but isnt learning to do the required things - like getting the puck deep or out of the zone consistently - and not a lot of points
Its up to the player to prove that he is listening to the coach - if he doesnt agree with the coach or change then accept what happens to you - press box or limited ice time.
