One week out of the year. Calgary is about as cowboy as any other city in Canada tbh. Im from a small farm town that had real cowboys and Calgary is extremely "city" outside of stampede.

Being difficult does not make something awesome.

I didn't notice the subtle flags and skyline the first time I saw pictures. I love it

Berra wore a new mask tonight in Edmonton -- but not the Cowboy one:

I'm guessing he plans to wear the white one normally and the cowboy one with our cowboy thirds.

Not a big fan of the font of the 29 on the white mask.

Basic design with a bunch of flames. That mask screams late '90s, looks like something Fred Brathwaite would have worn. Or add a few dinosaurs and you've got Trevor Kidd's

Apparently the one he wore last night was a new one from Airxess and he is still getting used to the fit of the cowboy Bauer one.

So this "new" mask was actually his back-up mask.

The Flames would not let him wear his other mask that had the Heat logo on it so they had a local Calgary artist paint his backup mask with his current creation - pretty cool.

Airxess posted on Facebook today that they have 4 masks ready to go to North America. 2 for Berra and 2 for Hiller. One will be for regular season wear and one for the Olympics

They must have been taking some heat about their masks.

Wow, that font is bad eh? The whole thing is bad. Looks like a rush job.

Spoke to Reto the other day. He had the new mask made, but the chin was smaller than on his first (Abbotsford/Calgary) mask. So he got the new new mask (the 29 Flames one) while his first mask (with the wide chin) got repainted. Basically he likes having the wider chin or something and it feels safer for him.

Hard to keep up with Berra and his masks. The first cowboy one was painted by Head Strong and was a different mask from his norm.

Airxess sent over 2 new masks for him, one for the NHL and one for the Olympics. They painted the one for the Olympics. Meanwhile Head Strong painted the mask he wore last night and had his original Flanes/Heat mask which they said they were repainting for the Olympics.

Either he has 2 Olympic masks or Head Strong repainted the Heat one and thats what he wore last night and there is another mask somewhere.

I know it doesn't matter to most people but I love looking at masks, especially our goalies ones.

Mask 1: Training Camp Mask (Abbotsford/Calgary), repainted to current Cowboy Mask 2 (wide chin)
Mask 2: Cowboy Mask 1 (thin chin)
Mask 3: Temporary Flames 29 Mask (wide chin)
