Well said! Too many haters out there, not because they don't like football, but because they are ashamed or feel pressured that watching the CFL is wrong. I have met so many people who verbally abuse the league or mock me because I follow the CFL. I don't care if you watch it or not, but the lengths some people go to trash the league is a joke.

I'm betting the suitor is the Chicago Bears, Marc Trestman has made no secrets about it in the past he loves the guy. If anything he likely will not be back until around Labour Day in the CFL if he doesn't make it.

I've learned which NFL team Weston Dressler is talking with. And let me tell you these are significant talks which explain why it's taking so long to get the details arranged. It's more than just a piddly tryout agreement. It's a contract with, likely, a healthy bonus. I'd dearly love to report which team it is but more importantly, I don't want to screw it up for Dressler. So just sit tight - the news should be coming out once the Dressler camp is ready.

Dressler deserves a shot in the NFL, I think he could be a difference maker down there. Best Riders' receiver of all time as far as I'm concerned.

If Dressler is indeed gone I'd like to see Simon return and a big emphasis put on scouting some receivers. Getzlaf will be solid (provided he doesn't forget how to catch again), Smith is the big play guy. They will need someone to help lessen the blow of losing Dressler. No one could ever replace him, but there will be the opportunity for someone to step up

Cornish says he has no desire to go down to the NFL and be a 2nd string practice roster guy.

He enjoys the CFL and gets paid well (for a CFL player). He works at TD bank and wants to be an investment/ stock broker after his career.

Calgary is pretty lucky to have him.

According to @FifthQTR, Lions have interview with Marcel Bellefeuille lined up.

The BC Lions are targeting a former quarterback to be their new offensive coordinator. Khari Jones will interview with the Lions this week for the open position. .
