So glad we got that one. I don't mind Winnipeg, but that was the whiniest crowd I've ever heard in my life. I've never heard a rain of boos because a guy was kicked out of the faceoff circle.

If Flames win/lose games like this all season, I'd be more than happy. It was an incredibly fun game to watch, it was great watching them not fade away as the game progressed and respond physically when challenged by a much larger team.
Any reason Bouma should ever not play in favour of Jackman? He is more skilled, has more speed, is more physical and can actually play on the PK... He reminds me of a Prust-lite.
Berra played good, wish he'd work on that rebound control a bit... but a +900 SV% is better than what we've been getting all season.

No one has said this yet... Bouma had a hell of a game, huge props to him... beauty shorty!
Baertschi was a BEAST on the boards and the forecheck tonight and made some gorgeous passes.

I don't mind the Colborne pick in the shoot out but Brodie AND Russel.. not the best ever.

Both seemed to have decent attempts. That said, Monahan leads the team in goals, odd to use him so late.
I guess Hartley's logic was that he didn't want to put the pressure on Monahan on his first NHL shootout attempt.

Flames deserved that win. Good confident builder for Berra in the shoot out.

Russell I understood, but Brodie? That one seemed odd to me.

Stajan was a work horse all game. Great board battles and smart hockey in general.

Let's not forget to give some love to Stempniak for keeping us alive in the shootout long enough to win. I hope we find a way to get him back next year.

I guess watching jackman really paid off.
Monahan is the future of the Flames.
