While my brain says it's going to be a Hawks blow out, my heart keeps reminding me of Freddie Brathwaite's debut against the best team in the league. You never know...

It really isn't about the goaltending for your guys...if your guys can't clog the neutral zone, if the 'Hawks get zone entries with speed, no goaltender will have a good game...The question will be, can your D stand up the 'Hawks, and can the backchecking forwards force the 'Hawks into a "dump and chase" game? Puck possession is a 'Hawk strength...puck retrieval, not so much.

“@ChrisKuc: Corey Crawford will start in goal for #Blackhawks tonight vs. Flames.”

We haven't done too well since I stopped firing up the laptop to comment in the GTs. Time to change that tonight. Because it will make an incalculable difference.
I just have a feeling that we are due for things to go our way. Berra is going to be pumped up and, I'm just guessing here, will have a better than average game. The team commits for 60 minutes and, despite the odd giveaway, play a sound defensive game and frustrate the Hawks offense. Flames offense doesn't get many chances but the PP finally capitalizes on a weak Hawks PK.
Flames win 2-1.

Gives me chills. Sometimes I wish North American fans could be more like European fans with the chants and unabashed fanaticism. Would also be more fun to go to the games.

Bouma a healthy scratch for Jackman??? I really don't understand what Jackman brings to the lineup anymore... and Bouma has been exactly the kind of heart and soul player we need on our 4th line.
Also, don't really understand Backlund on the 4th line...I would much rather they try Backlund on the wing with Cammy and Colborne, and then have Galliardi center the 4th line with Bouma and Mcgratton.
