I can't imagine Burke will want to go more than one season with this type of goaltending. I wouldn't be stunned if the Flames tried to make a deal for Reimer.

Looks like Colborne could be an excellent acquisition.

Gio was just a good pairing for Brodie (like Hamrlik with Phaneuf) and was playing really well. Now Brodie is paired with someone new and obviously not as talented as Gio.

How the hell is that the top team in the East? I know it's a back to back game for them, and they won. But man, the Leafs would be eaten alive by at least 7 teams in the West.

I think some are mad that Backlund sat out. I think Hartley estimated that the Flames would need some size and toughness but it really wasn't that type of game so Backlund sitting while Jackman accomplishes nothing as he normally does simply doesn't look that great now.

He is just as bad. time to bring up Yogi Berra, or to send Burkie to Kipper's house in Dewinton.

Flames fans in the dome should be embarrassed by their performance tonight. Felt like the ACC.

Goaltending will ultimately sink this team to a high draft position.
Joey Mac is not a #1, Ramo isn't even and NHL goalie and Berra is struggling in the A.

Likely that Hartley wanted a bigger lineup, but maybe they were holding Backlund out as to not injure him as he's part of a trade to bring in a dman. Or maybe their watching how the other centres handle the load, can they move on without Backlund? This could be the guy Burke isn't sold on.

None of the "top 3" goalies we have right now are the solution, they're just gap fillers. We might as well get used to it.

Who is the best player not in the NHL Feaster can bring in for next year though?
