I wonder if Russell was one of the pieces the Flames were asking for during the Bouwmeester trade talks?

Curtis Glencross is a streaky player. Like Cammy. Like Stempniak. Like most 20 something goal scorers. He has a handful of poor games and all of a sudden he's Glencrap and he's only padding his trade value? How many people though Glencross should be the captain? CP disappoints me some times.

On a positive note I absolutely love this team. Love. I couldn't cherry pick a single player that had a bad game.

missed the game as i had to study for midders. anyone care to do a breakdown for me. stand out players (good and bad) etc.

looks like Cammi had a strong night. Met this guy before and he is an absolute gem of a dude. As much as people want to trade him for a pick at the deadline, he is the kind of pro I would want around a young group like Brodie, Monahan, Beartschi, etc.

They just wouldn't shut up about it. Don't most NHL players train at altitude anyway?

Really liked Colborne's game tonight. He's been getting better every game. Even had some physical play tonight.

Liked the way Ramo settled down as the game went on, his rebound control needs work but he is miles better than Joey. Wideman and Russell have a huge work ethic, even Butler kept it simple and was steady.

agree - its more important for Glencross to get going - I think we all agree it hasnt been the start he wanted but he can be a key piece and can be very useful when he starts playing his game. Hoping that tonight is the beginning of that

I heard Kory Sheets was making excuses today because of the altitude or he would be the best running back in Canada.

CBC was actually decent tonight though. Stock trashed Ovechkin after the first period and even Glenn Healy just said Calgary completely shut them down.

The Flames should really be 2-0 vs the caps this season.

And here comes Hrudey with the altitude question again.
