Our division is a piece of s###
39-20-7 total record
.645 points percentage
We've got a .625 points percentage and are currently 6th out of 7 teams
...and the Habs and Isles suck and are useless

Jets lose 5-4 in a shootout, and go 2 for 6 on this home stand. I think the time is right to fire Noel.

Does anyone else think that Dallas Eakins has a very punchable face? Just saw his post-game interview (first time really listening to him) and man does he seem incredibly smug

To be fair they showed up tonight, although Noel is just awful.

The two games on national television were entertaining.
The Oilers-Habs game on RDS had lots of goals and the NBCSN-TSN Predators-Wild game was better than I thought it would be. The Wild had lots of shots and deserved the win. Rinne would like to have the first goal, which was the winner. He did not handle the puck properly. The Wild won 2-0.

I mean for starter, most people think it's Luongo or him, if he wasn't in Chicago I think he would be in the Crawford/Smith/Ward area of maybe making the team

Thomas failed to finish in the Chicago/Florida game...speculation is that he aggravated his prior groin injury...those kind of injuries tend to linger, and at his age, one has to wonder if Thomas has the ability to overcome this kind of recurring problem.
Toews and Sharp score in the skills competition...so the 'Hawks escape with 2 points...
Over the last decade or so, the 'Hawks seem to underperform vs. non-O-6 Eastern teams...the games seem like emotionless scrimmages at times.

Wait, what? You can't seriously believe that can you?
As for Team Canada, I am of the opinion that they made a mistake not including Cam Ward. The guy has a Stanley Cup ring, Conn Smythe Trophy, and he can be a big game goaltender when it matters most. I think, in all likelihood, it'll be Luongo, Price, and Crawford for Canada in Sochi.

Guy sort of acts like he invented hockey. It's one thing to be an x's and o's kind of a guy...another thing to think you are on a different intellectual level when it comes to hockey.
Not too dissimilar from Mike Gillis actually when he was getting all his praise for hiring sleep doctors and what not.
Ah well...last place in the Pacific division will look good on him year after year.

When was the last time a Canadian goaltender won the Vezina? Apart from Brodeur, who isn't relevant anymore.

It's wrong to not have Ward on the team and you said it, he has a ring plus the guy hasn't lost a game 7 in the NHL including game 7 for the Cup. Luongo is a failure and should be the 3rd stringer. Price shouldn't be there, Fleury instead. Crawford and Fleury have rings.

I don't think most people think it's Price. Many mention Crawford being in the mix with Loserongo. Just like I said in my previous post, Crawford, Fleury, and Ward should be on the team. Goalies without SC rings such as 7uongo should not be on the team.

The best Canadian goalie this year has been Bernier.
