Ah yes, loved those glass containers that could keep the milk SO cold! And the milk was definitely fresh. Loved it!

Absolutely miss the A&W frosted mugs full of ice cold milk too! Nothing like them.

Oh, wait, are you being facetious? Could it be that you haven't had your milk cherry popped in that regard?

Poor boy.. too late!

I shop at Co-op for the most part. The Midtown Market is three blocks from here, and I buy lots of gas so I always have a bunch of coupons. They're also a customer so I like to support them.

I go to Costco for meat and non-perishables. I'm single so unless I can freeze it, or keep it in the pantry, anything else I buy there just goes to waste.

I also shop at Safeway, but pretty much only for their sandwiches.

Haha, you're actually right. I love milk and I'm sure I would love it. In fact I go to Sunterra just to get that bottled chocolate milk they get in from that dairy farm on the shuswap. So good.

In case you want some, the butcher at Co-op in Wentworth has really nice sausage, Puckluck can vouch.

I go to Superstore when I'm in the mood to reject produce for being rotten, look at unstocked shelves, and stand in interminable lines.

For produce quality, maybe different in Alberta, but I doubt it.

At both the discount and premium stores, all 16 items we compared were the highest or second highest Canada or U.S. grade, which means they meet industry measures of appearance, size and consistency. Surprisingly, the apples and pears at No Frills were the highest “Canada Extra Fancy” grade, while Loblaws was selling the lower-graded “Fancy” apples—for 50 cents more per pound!
