I don't think that it is a good fit for two reasons, first the Flames are not a team that is a contender and adding two elite level players would likely just result in a situation like they were in from 2009-2012 where the team was floundering around 9-10 just out of the playoffs. Also the Sedins likely would like to win a Stanley Cup, something that won't happen in the near future with the Flames (or Canucks for that matter).
From what I do know about them they are great locker room guys and have very deep roots in the community with their charitable actions. I do wonder what their next contract will be and if they will go with the Swedish discount price that a lot of Swedes tend to give teams (Detroit in particular)
