Well, they atoned to their early mistakes in a big way.

It's over!!! Stamps won 40-26.

Calgary played extremely well in the first half but missed their chances to burying the Lions early. Jon Cornish was on fire in the first half and so as Kevin Glenn. Second half was different as they started struggling and let BC Lions tied the game. For some reason Cornish was the forgotten man in the 3rd quarter.

What can you say about the OLine? For a group who was decimated by injuries, it doesn't look like they lose a step. Running blocks was great. Front Seven for D played well but for some reason after Derrius Brooks went down with injuriy, DeMarco took advantage of them throwing long passes to Nick Taylor. At least they atoned at the end with Chris Randle intercepting a pass and returning it for a TD.

Special team play. Peanut Smith started off well. On his first kickoff return, he returned it for over 50 yards and he was tough to stop the whole game after. One of the best game special team played this season so far. They avoided penalties all night.

The frustrating part of this game was the score didn't reflect the way the Stamps dominated the first half. Secondary gave up some long ball. Stamps losing WR Joe West and DB Derrius Brooks to injury in the first half.

Just saw that on the highlights. Wasn't a fan of Cornish getting upset at his o line or penalties a couple seasons ago, but this was worse, considering the source.

Cornish has gone on to set multiple records and tonight he added two more. Only record Tate is going to set is consecutive injuries and the first to get injured AT the expansion draft.

The guy was a jerk. I know he's a competitive guy but he doesn't have to pull the guy's hand when Cornish was probably asking or apologizing for what happened. I hope Huf trade him after this season and let BLM and even Glenn play QB for Stamps.

The oddest moment of the game Tate and Cornish just losing it at each other. One of them went the wrong way, it happens. Deal with it and move on. Neither of them handled it very well.

Randle had an awful game (other than the pick), Smith was not great. Otherwise the Stamps D was pretty good.

That Smith guy was impressive. Taylor might have to watch his back if Smith keeps it up.

No Cornish walked away from Tate after his blow up so you can't blame the guy for it. Maybe it was Cornish or maybe it was Tate He was probably going to talk to Tate about it or even apologized but Tate have none of that.

After all that crap Cornish ran the ball for TD on the next play. Cornish even apologized to Tate later on.

Have to feel good for Chris Randle. His pick 6 sealed the deal for the Stamps tonight and that play more than made up for his otherwise very poor night. The Lions picked on him all game long.

4 man pressure was not getting it done all night. Where were the full-out blitz packages against an inexperienced QB?

Stamps did play well enough to win, though. You can't dominate every game, but still I thought the defence took a step back. But in the end, BC tied it up and the Stamps then simply took over again and showed them which team is better.

Yes totally.
Even then the Stamps lead the league in rushing yards and have the leading rusher, he totally abandons the run all the time.

Brandon Smith, what a brutal game! He has the hardest coverage every game but that was just bad. Way too many times it was his man getting big yards.Needs to step up next game.

Cornish-Tate spaz, Cornish probably went the wrong way otherwise no way a guy should make a mistake and be in the other guys grill right away. But Tate c'mon! that was childish and he's suppose to be a leader out there. They can let him go for all I care.

O-Line, what can you about these guys? just dominant all night and all season long. We're probably gonna lose of these guys but damn boys. Keep up the good work.

Cornish, now has a big lead. MOP! Sheets, you can go on radio and talk about how you're the best back in the CFL but Cornish shows it every week. Your move a$$hat, lets see if you can close the gap at all with your silly team.

West, made of glass.

C. Smith, finally a returner who's not so eager to just step out of bounds. Even when Walter is healthy, I'd like to see Smith stay in there over Taylor.

Bryant, will be our outstanding lineman nominee, he's been a beast all year. Hope he gets recognized.

I'm glad the Flames and Stamps both won, made the night better then it was.

I'm probably the only one bothered by this, but I wish the stamps didn't insist on announcing the score in the flames game. You guys scheduled two games at the same time, I would have really liked to watch the flames game I PVR'd. I certainly can't be the only one can I?
