I also use Apple TV + VPN. I got all the Playoffs last year.

As enticing as it sounds to be able to watch games on various devices with GC I went with CI again this year. The simplicity of the PVR, skipping commercials with a remote control and 7/8 Bell (Toronto) channels are HD tipped the scale.

There was a great comparison for a third option posted on this site last year. I actually spoke about it 2-3 months after it got posted then got banned, so I will refrain from naming it again (even though I found it here).
What really bugs me about GC is how delayed the feed is. I like keeping up to date with social media while watching games and find it impossible to do so when it's so far ahead. Having to use Unlockus (or a free version of the service) is also pretty annoying.
Here is a comparison graph I lifted from the site:
I find the quality to be so much better it isn't even comparable, especially if you have a really high end TV.
I think it is also important to note that Gamecentre is run by NeuLion, an absolute scumbag company with atrocious customer service. In the past I have had my Credit Card triple debited for my GC fees, which then took over 3 months of BS with them to get back, never again.

It could be that I have my VPN set to UK, but it shows as $99 US even when I turn it off.

+2 Love it.
Used the 360 more often with 3 different teams in the house I live in, and was far better of an app (between the 360, PS3, PC and AppleTV the 360 is by far the best for anyone wondering) but I loved the simplicity of the AppleTV. Also completely forgot I had UnblockUs on it until recently.

Just got mine setup for $99. Had UnblockUs turned on, and had to turn it off to see the $149 you guys are all talking about.
Accidentally saved $50 I guess!

I just called Bell to renew, as I saw on here that it was going to be 149$ this year, and the bell site is showing 200$ for the year. The Bell rep couldn't confirm either way which one it is.... Said they only show last seasons shortened price. Anyone else confirm its only 149$ this year?

I called Bell today and they told me 4 payments of 50 bucks.
I talked to a few different people they all said the same thing. The official price isn't out yet, just approximates.

Are you watching on gamecenter live? I paid the $100 last week and it charged it to my card, but I haven't been able to watch any preseason games.

I had game centre live but the choppiness when the camera moved between zones was too distracting to deal with.
