Nice breed.

Is he going to be registered with the CKC?
If yes, I would wait to give him a call name til you chose a registered name.

ie. My youngest Golden Retriever's registered name is Auburnmist Glory from Belcanto. Her call name is "Glory"

With our oldest Golden, we kind of did it backwards... we chose a call name first and then chose a registered name. ie. Auburnmist Maximum Overdrive... call name "Ryley"

If we did it over again, I'd probably use "Max" as his call name.
