Ha. Not sure whether to choose Sieloff or Gillies because if Sieloff pans out, Gillies benefits.

Just an FYI to Bingo, you fixed the double F at the end of Sieloff's name on this poll, but transposed the I and E.

We need to get the spelling right because we're going to be seeing it on the back of a lot of jerseys in a couple of years.

Anyone thinks Gillies might turn pro after only 2 seasons in college if he has another big season? I'm hoping he becomes the starter for the Heat in the 2014-15 season and then join the Flames in 2015-16.

One of Ramo or Berra will likely be gone in 2 years if not after this season leaving a spot for him.

Would say it is a 75-80 percent likelyhood that he will leave after this season.

Agreed. Im somewhat surprised he is so low in the poll still. I would wager that Sieloff plays more NHL games than any of the other names in the entire list of "prospects" when all is said and done, and is also (by a fair margin) more of a sure thing right now than any of them.

Very very underrated it would appear, but then again he isnt a flashy offensive guy and doesn't garner the attention of others which is understandable. He is a piece that any and every team in the league needs to have in their lineup...and it appears the Flames have one for many years to come.

I have Wotherspoon ahead at the moment based on his very strong season with Portland and with Team Canada. He really broke out for a lot of us at the World Juniors by first making the team and then rising on the depth chart and proving to be one of Canada's most reliable defenders last WJC. Obviously the Winterhawks had a strong season as well and Wotherspoon played a ton alongside Seth Jones. IMO his weakness had been skating earlier but this season it looked fine. Solid two-way guy who plays a strong game. Moves the puck well, makes good decisions, strong defensively, will rub guys out hard.

Sieloff hasn't had as dominating a season yet but certainly is capable of doing similarly this year to what Wotherspoon did last year. He's more physical than Wotherspoon throwing some spectacular open ice hits. Haven't seen quite as much of him but look forward to likely seeing him in a prominent role with Team USA at this year's WJC.

Wotherspoon looks like a #3, #4 or perhaps even a complimentary top pairing guy. Sieloff so far looks like a #4 or #3 guy. Both guys look like great picks so far.
