Just remember, weight loss is 95% math
3500 calories = 1 pound.
Yes some bodies are different and will lose weight faster than others but if you burn more in a day then you take in, you will lose weight. You will need to make the decision to lose weight. That means instead of watching Iceland Big Brother you go for an hour walk each night

At work instead of surfing CP at lunch you go for a walk. Instead of taking the elevator you take the stairs. Little things like that will go along way. Also garbage anything in your house you enjoy snacking on, replace that with celery and brocolli.
After the show, have 1 "cheat meal" a week. Make it the lunch in the middle of the week (Thursday) example. It will allow you to keep the motivation and will allow you to enjoy that meal that much more.
If your input/output calories are the same from one week to the next, you will see weight fluctuations. One week you can lose 10lbs the next week 2lbs. The thing to note is not to be discouraged that you are losing less weight but that in 2 weeks you averaged 6lbs a week. Most people get discouraged at the drop in weight loss and the "fall off the wagon"
A few other tips that might also work for you
1 - Be honest with yourself. What helped me is createing excel spreadsheet to TRUTHFULLY track your calories, you will not gain weight if you burned more than you consumed. Also take pictures of yourself and tape them in strategic locations around your house. 1 with your first pic and one with your current pic to help motivate you.
2 - when you eat does matter. Dont eat 4-5 hours before going to bed. When you get up in the morning exercise first then have breakfast. Also only weigh yourself once a week, and do it at the same time in the morning before eating and after having your am bathroom break
3 - adding weights, just a little at a time will assist in your weight loss. Just remember while at the gym, for weight loss its best to use a lighter weight to allow you to go from station to station with very little break (15 seconds max). For now I wouldnt worry about adding bulk muscle. You have muscle, its just covered in fat and so its best to work on getting rid of that.
4 - dont drink to much water. I have found a tipping point between a good amount and too much. With 2 much - for me it was 6L a day I found I lost less - I think what was happeneding is the water was diluting the nutrients so it went into starvation mode
5 - dont listen to people that say eating healthy has everything to do with weight loss. It has NOTHING to do with weight loss, weight loss is purely a math game. You can if you calculate your weight loss with consuming 1600 calories a day then you can eat anything you want for those calories. Some food will cause you to be less hungry but from a pure weight loss pov its all math and nothing but math.
6 - most importantly. You must have MOTIVATION. The motivation can be anything but it must be personal to you and something that will be ashamed of if you dont complete it. Alot of "skinny" people will give you advice, dont take it. If someone has never lost 50 lbs in their life they dont know how to lose weight. For the most part trainers will give you advice, take it with a grain of salt as most likely they know nothing about really losing and battling weight. They have read about it and think they know.
